Pumpkin is great for your skin. Pumpkin is excellent for the healthy skincare of all skin types, but especially on skin that’s been damaged by environmental conditions, such as overexposure to the sun. Pumpkin delivers powerful anti-inflammatory benefits and natural UV protectors and it’s the perfect exfoliate for any skin.
Here we have a couple of easy recipes which you are able to do at home:
Pumpkin Cleanser:
You will need:
• 1 Wedge Fresh Pumpkin
• ¼ Cup Milk
• ¼ Cup Water
Remove the skin and seeds from the pumpkin slice and cut it into cubes. Microwave the pumpkin cubes until soft. Mash the pumpkin. Combine 2 tablespoons of mashed pumpkin with the milk and water – blend well.
How to Use: Pour a small amount of Pumpkin Cleanser onto a clean, wet sponge or washcloth and gently wash your face every morning and evening. Rinse with warm water and pat skin dry.
Creamy Pumpkin Mask:
You will need:
• 1 Small/Mini Pumpkin
• 1 Cup Warm Milk
• ½ Cup Mineral Water
Cut pumpkin in half and peel it. Boil pumpkin halves in a saucepan with the milk for 30 minutes. Allow it to cool then cut pumpkin into very thin slices.
How to Use: Place pumpkin slices over face and neck and relax for 20 minutes. Rinse with the warm milk and then rinse with the mineral water.
