What treatments and products do we offer?
Medical Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion uses crystals to disrupt and remove the top layer of skin cells that cause blocked pores. This treatment reveals new, living cells leaving a healthy glow. The epidermal layers of the skin are rejuvenated leading to fresher and plumper skin. We offer Microdermabrasion to clients with very mild skin congestion.
ZO Oil Control Facial
The ZO range offers medical-grade products to help treat acne-prone skin. The treatment involves a full facial cleanse, exfoliation using magnesium crystals, massage and application of a sulphur mask which has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Products
We offer a range of medical-grade products for the treatment of acne. During a consultation, the therapist will assess the skin and discuss medical history before devising a suitable product regimen for at-home use. For many clients, we suggest a combination treatment plan, of treatments in the clinic and products for at-home use.
What do we offer for Acne Scarring?
Many clients struggle with the toll acne has taken on their skin once it has settled. Cystic acne can leave depressions in the skin (pitting) whilst other clients’ acne can leave pink/dark marks on the skin.
Microdermabrasion for mild scarring
If depressions in the skin are not deep, these can be alleviated with microdermabrasion treatment. The machine can work at a high setting to cause light trauma to the skin which in turn promotes cell renewal.
It is also beneficial for those clients who have dark/pink marks post-acne.
Dermapen for mild-deep scarring
Dermapen is a skin needling treatment that causes harsh trauma to the skin and encourages the skins natural healing response, therefore boosting cell formation in areas where there are depressions in the skin. Prior to treatment, the area is numbed. It is normal for the skin to become quite pink post-treatment but this should settle within a few hours. We recommend this treatment every 6-8 weeks.
PIH Post Acne (Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation)
It is often the case that clients can have PIH once spots have disappeared. These can easily be treated by microdermabrasion treatments, skin peels (Agera Peel) or product usage (ZO Medical Range). Clients should book a consultation to determine which would be most suitable for them.
Epionce Lite Peel
The Epionce professional peel systems were developed for professional administration. The systems can be easily adapted by the professional to create a unique treatment to target a specific skincare outcome for individual clients. It is up to the professional to select the most appropriate peel for their client.
Obagi Peel
This facial peel can be combined with Obagi product systems for enhanced results. With a combination of 20% salicylic, lactic and glycolic solutions, this peel provides an instant radiance for most skin types. The peel can improve a range of skin concerns including photodamage and dull-looking skin and results in an overall improvement in texture and tone. It provides instant radiance, tighter, smoother looking skin after just one treatment and has no downtime. A series of six peels is recommended at fortnightly/monthly intervals.
We also offer ZO and Obagi medical-grade products with high salicylic contact to help clear excess sebum and bacteria that leads to blocked pores and acne, please contact a member of the team to discuss further.
Maskne Facial
We have created the Maskne Facial. A bespoke facial using our medical-grade skincare from ZO Skin Health. This facial has been created to tackle those breakouts!
Many clients are experiencing extra breakouts and finding their skin has changed. This could be down to having to wear masks most of the time. Our skin can’t breathe, bacteria gets trapped, resulting in excess clogging.
