Look & Feel Younger

Profhilo is the new hyaluronic acid complex for bio modelling of the skin to treat skin laxity. It stimulates 4 different types of collagen and elastin due to the slow release of hyaluronic acid, and it is this stimulation that results in significant improvement of tissue quality.

Profhilo diffuses within the tissue after injection and over the period of 4 weeks, it stimulates 4 different types of collagen and elastin. It doesn’t need to be massaged and leaves no nodules. Due to its high spreadability, only 5 injection points on each side of the face are needed, which means patients find the treatment much more comfortable.

Profhilo can help to correct:

  • Smokers lines and fine lines around the mouth
  • Under-eye wrinkles
  • Fine lines around the eyes
  • Crepey and thin neck skin
  • Wrinkly cheeks
  • Crepey hands

What areas can be treated?

Profhilo is most commonly used for facial areas, but can also effectively be used for rejuvenating the neck, decollate and hands.

Am I suitable for this treatment?

Anyone who presents with signs of skin ageing would be suitable for the treatment. The main Contra-indication of this treatment is pregnancy and breastfeeding, however, you may also be an unsuitable candidate if you have any infections in the treatment area, various muscle or blood disorders. If you are not sure if you are a suitable candidate please contacts the clinic for further advice.

Are there any side effects?

Hyaluronic Acid is very well tolerated, and the only side effects reported were related to the injection itself, not the product. Some clients have seen bruising and mild swelling at the injection sites, but these generally disappear in a short period of time.
