Set out below are some of the terms on which The Laser and Aesthetic Clinic service to its clients.
Please ensure that you have read and fully understood them prior to booking any treatment.
Treatments or Consultations booked with Dr Patel require a consultation fee of £50 to be paid prior to the appointment which would be redeemable against the cost of treatment. This redemption is only for the service that the consultation was initially for and is valid for 3 months from the initial appointment date.
For skincare consultations there is a £30 fee payable when booking the appointment. This fee is deducted from any products purchased or treatments booked post consultation.
There is a 25% deposit required for ALL appointments with the Laser and Aesthetic Clinic whether booking online, over the phone or in person.
For those that have cancelled appointments more than four times with less than 24hours notice, there will be a 50% deposit to pay when booking online, over the phone or in person.
APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATION/ CANCELLATION POLICY
If an appointment has been booked online, and cancelled within 24hours of the treatment booking, a full refund will be returned to your bank account within 5-7 days of the cancellation.
We sometimes need to contact you to change the time and/or date of your booking. Whenever possible, we will give you as much notice as we can when doing this. In the instance of unforeseen staff illness, we may be forced to reschedule your appointment at short notice. No discounts will be offered in these circumstances.
Please note that you are required to give the clinic at least 24 hours notice for cancellations otherwise you will lose your deposit. For those on a course of treatments, you may lose that session from your course if not enough notice is given.
For Treatcard appointments. Failure to turn up for a Treatcard appointment will result in the client losing their points for that treatment. 24hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule Treatcard appointments.
While we will make every effort to meet your request, we cannot guarantee a specific therapist for your treatment. All practitioners are trained in all undertaken treatments and protocols to ensure your comfort and treatment efficacy at all times.
REFUND POLICY – TREATMENTS
If you change your mind within 14 days of purchase of a course of treatments, if no sessions have been redeemed, you are entitled to a refund. If for any medical reason you are advised not to continue with your course of treatments, please get a medical letter from your doctor and bring in to the clinic.
If you have paid upfront for sessions and have used any sessions then this will be deducted from your refund value as the pay as you go cost (the full treatment cost per session). I understand that The Laser and Aesthetic Clinic cannot be held responsible for any unknown side effects which may occur as a result of having laser treatments.
We do not offer refunds or exchanges of products that have been opened or are unsealed.
REFUND POLICY – PRODUCTS
Due to Obagi and ZO Skin Health being medical grade skincare, and in line with our policy, we cannot issue refunds or returns on these products.
A gentle reminder that we will no longer be responsible for your skincare journey if you choose to purchase any ZO or Obagi Medical Products from a third party. This includes purchasing them from other clinics, or from an online retailer. Purchases of these products online may be counterfeit, as they are not guaranteed to be from a Medical Grade Supplier.
DURATION BETWEEN TREATMENTS
Please note laser hair and vein treatments should in general be carried out 4-6 weeks between treatments on the face and 6-8 weeks in between treatments on the body. Throughout a course of laser hair removal, you may find a longer duration for the hair to grow back between sessions, but always aim to book your next appointment when the hairs start to re-appear. Failure to do so may have an impact on obtaining optimum results from the treatment.
Please note that Laser Hair Removal courses must be completed within 18months of purchase.
For 3d Lipo sessions, if you are on a weekly course of sessions, please do attend these weekly as discussed with your therapist. Failure to have these weekly will have an impact on your end result. 3d Lipo sessions work on the understanding that the client is being healthy at home with their diet, drink 2litres of water daily and are carrying out some exercise 30 minute 2-3 times a week.
REMOVAL OF PRODUCTS ON THE SKIN
Please be advised make-up, deodorant, perfume, and oil-based products must be removed prior to treatments. Practitioners will cleanse the area, however we cannot be held responsible for any visual product that may lay dormant in the skin pores which can cause an adverse reaction.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he/she provide us with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. We will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.
The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by The Laser and Aesthetic Clinic regarding the care of a treated area.
If you have any changes in medication, please let the clinic know at least 48 hours prior to a treatment as this may impact your treatment.
We aim to provide the best possible service and care to you when delivering a consultation or treatment.
In the event that you are unhappy with any aspect of the service provided, you should speak to the clinic manager in the first instance.
REFUSAL OF TREATMENT
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time
Two offers/discounts cannot be used simultaneously in the clinic
If you have purchased a voucher from an independent supplier, and require a refund, please contact them directly. If the date has expired on this voucher, and you would still like to go ahead and book the treatment, please contact the clinic and we can book this in at an additional fee.
ATTENDING THE CLINIC
Patients must attend the clinic on their own for treatments. For health & safety reasons, we can not allow individuals or children to wait in the reception area as at times all of our therapists are in treatment and can not be left unattended. If there is are exceptional circumstances as to why you can not attend the clinic on your own then please get in contact with the clinic prior to your appointment.
