3D Lipo is an innovative treatment system that offers a range of advanced, highly effective, body sculpting treatments to help clients improve their body shape without surgery. Combining some of the very latest technologies for non-surgical aesthetic procedures, the 3D-lipo system incorporates handpieces for cryolipolysis (Fat Freezing), radiofrequency, Ultrasound cavitation, dermatology and shockwave therapy.
Fat Freezing
Also known as Cryolipolysis, 3D Lipo Fat Freezing is able to target stubborn pockets of soft, squeezable fat tissue to help reduce lumps, bumps and bulges. Fat freezing non-invasively targets and destroys fat cells in the desired areas for long-lasting results.
It works via a targeted cooling applicator that takes the temperature of the treatment area down to -10ºC, which freezes the fat cells to a point where they cannot survive. This kills the fat cells under the skin, without affecting any other type of cells.
Skin Tightening
3D Lipo skin tightening uses Radio Frequency to help tighten loose and sagging skin on the body. Radiofrequency energy is directed to a target area to improve the appearance of cellulite and to tighten skin. The radiofrequency energy heats the layer of skin which contains the collagen fibres, causing these fibres to contract, as well as increasing the production of new collagen and elastin. This will tighten the skin for a smoother more youthful appearance.
Cavitation
Ultrasound Cavitation is an effective body shaping treatment for fat reduction and overall inch loss. Cavitation allows for a large area to be treated in a shorter period of time. It is a non-invasive way of body sculpting, by treating deep cellulite and reducing fat in localised areas. Using low-frequency ultrasound, bubbles are created in the liquid in the fat cells. These bubbles implode once they grow to a certain size and the heat and pressure energy that is released, causes the destruction of the fat cells. No other types of cells are affected and the broken down fat cells are re-purposed by the body or excreted.
Shockwave therapy
Shockwave therapy is clinically proven to help increase and speed up the results of other body shaping treatments such as 3D Lipo Fat Freezing. Shockwave therapy works by applying radial shockwaves which stimulate the breakdown of fat and increase lymphatic drainage and collagen synthesis (production) This procedure could help to enhance all of our body shaping treatments and we recommend including it as part of the treatment programme.
HIFU
A one-off treatment for hard fat areas. HIFU effectively destroys fat cells and tightens skin in the treatment area. The damaged destroyed cells are flushed away via a natural removal process through the lymphatic system.

What does the treatment involve?
The 3D-lipo machines offer five different methods of fat reduction and improvement of skin appearance, with bespoke services being offered to suit a person’s individual needs. Each 3D Lipo procedure can be used on its own or combined as a bespoke treatment programme to help achieve excellent body shaping results, destroying fat cells or help to improve the texture, tone and appearance of problem areas. This treatment is perfect for targeting stubborn stomach fat, loose or sagging skin and cellulite.
What areas can be treated?
Modalities can be used separately or in a combined treatment approach, depending on your specific concerns. It can be used on the abdomen, flanks, back, inner and outer thighs and buttocks, as well as on the upper arms and under the neck, around the jawline. Addressing areas of concern often referred to as love handles, saddle bags, muffin tops, turkey neck and bingo wings.
How many sessions will I need?
Each course comprises of 8 weekly sessions. Some clients may need more than one course to get the desired result but this can be discussed during consultation Cavitation – 8 weekly sessions Fat Freezing – 1 session Cryo – 1 off treatment, can have additional treatment 6 weeks post first treatment if combined with shockwave HIFU – 1 session per area (Can be repeated after 9 months) RF Skin tightening – 8 weekly sessions Shockwave therapy – 8 weekly sessions Often modalities will be combined to create a bespoke treatment plan
What results can I expect?
Positive results from treatment will be seen after the first session and over the following few months as the body metabolises the destroyed fat cells and new collagen formation occurs to tighten skin. Better results in fat reduction and skin tightening will be seen with each additional treatment. Fat cells will continue to be flushed out of the body, up to 6 months following treatment. There is no reason why the results seen from a 3D-lipo procedure shouldn’t be permanent if the recommended treatment regime is followed. Weight gain or hormonal factors could affect long term results so you are advised to adopt an appropriate diet and lifestyle plan after your treatment programme ends. You will not be required to follow a specific exercise regime during or after your treatment, however. You may be advised to have top-up treatments on an annual basis to maintain the results.
Are there any side effects?
Some individuals might experience a little redness, bruising and discomfort in the treatment area, both during and after treatment, as well as possible tingling and numbness. All these minor symptoms will be very short-lived, leading to a quick, full recovery.
