5 Sense Massage

This holistic massage uses a blend of aromatherapy relation, detox or balancing oils for an ultimate treatment which includes head, neck, shoulders, hands & feet – all areas to awaken your senses which help to balance both body and mind.

Swedish massage

The Swedish body massage technique is universal; using deep pressure and strong movements this treatment helps break up muscle tension and stimulates the circulation, helping to eliminate toxins.

It is a popular choice for people who want an invigorating full body treatment. Swedish massage is less targeted than deep tissue/medical massage but is a great way to warm up and prepare the body for sporting activities or following exercise to redistribute lactic acids and the by products of exercise to maximize comfort.
In treatments of longer duration some targeted deep tissue and massage techniques may be included to relieve localised tension or inflammation.

Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy massage is massage therapy but with highly concentrated essential oils added to the massage medium.

When you inhale essential oil molecules, messages are transmitted to the limbic system and affect heart rate, stress level, blood pressure, breathing, memory, digestion, and the immune system. Essential oils are also believed to be absorbed through the skin.

Each essential oil has different healing properties. For example, some calm while others energize. When used during your aromatherapy body massage, essential oils work on two levels (absorption and inhalation) to deliver a skin conditioning massage that is pure indulgence.

Detox Aromatherapy Massage

This blend is formulated to help stimulate tone and boost skin texture. This detoxifying blend is used to help decongest, tone, moisturise and promote a sense of rejuvenation. With key notes of sage and eucalyptus, this blend is used to stimulate the mind and help address mental fatigue.

Revitalising Aromatherapy Massage

This blend aims to give an up-lifting and revitalising experience and helps to revive the mind and body. The revitalising oils contain basil and black pepper. Black pepper is stimulating, warming oil that aids stamina and rejuvenates the body from aches and pains whilst basil oil helps clear the mind and provides mental strength. They give the body a sense of well-being and help to awaken and invigorate whilst energising.

Relaxing Aromatherapy Massage

With key calming notes such as lavender and neroli, this blend aims to calm the mind. It is formulated to help relieve stress and reduce tension. Lavender and neroli oils can benefit your body in the following ways, they can help reduce anxiety and emotional stress, improves sleep and help alleviate headaches.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage is a variation on classic massage therapy. Heated smooth, flat stones are placed on key points on the body. The massage therapist may also hold the stones and use them to massage certain areas of the body.

The premise behind hot stone massage therapy is that the direct heat of the stones relaxes muscles, allowing the therapist access to their deeper muscle layers. Combining hot stone protocols with a full body massage provides a very healing and effective experience. The hot stones also expand blood vessels, which encourages blood flow throughout the body. The hot stones have a sedative effect that can help reduce stress and promote deep relaxation.

Pregnancy Massage

Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage, to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. But it’s also tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies, and therapists who are trained in prenatal massage adjust their techniques accordingly. As a precaution, we can only treat clients who are past their first trimester.

Head Massage

A head massage can help relax the scalp and neck muscles. Almond oil is applied and massage movements help to stimulate circulation in the scalp. Regular head massages can help ease stress and help you sleep better. This is a lovely treatment that can be combined with any of our massages for a relaxing full body massage experience.
